Hi... I have decided not to buy the Elgato 610 product since it seems very expensive compared to some of the alternatives such as the Miglia EvolutionTV product. I never really understood how to take the viewing card from the Telewest box to the Elgato CAM module.

However, I have discovered that Telewest do send Freeview channels unscrambled through their cable network. This won't help you with your 'paid for' channels, but since I don't have any of these, I intend to just hook up my Miglia PVR to the cable running into my house.
