Oh. Thanks for the info, that's a downer. It seems to me a bit dodgy, trading-standards-wise, that Elgato sells this for use in the UK, and says that it can receive PayTV, while the two companies who control the vast majority of digital cable in the UK are apparently not compatible. Now I don't know whether to keep it for the free channels or send it back in a huff and have nothing.
