Spot on, I couldn't agree with you more (apart from the sending back bit!) though that does depend on whether you subscribe to any paid TV channels. I don't watch TV enough to subscribe to anything beyond the free channels, so I'm really just looking for a box that allows me to record the free channels to my computer.

I think I opted to wait for the Evolution TV box from Miglia because I suspected compatibility problems with the Cable version of Elgato EyeTV.... it's not very good to say something is compatible when it most clearly isn't. So far I have resisted the temptation to buy the Elgato right here and now... I think I can still resist the temptation - just!
