Spent the weekend doing some groundwork for a new garage that I hope to have built in the coming weeks. However, I have only just written to the local council seeking planning approval - yikes! It wasn't clear whether I should just state the facts about my plans or should I state the facts and also list all the reasons why the new garage would be good for the area :-)
In my letter I included two images...
Do I sound like someone worried they'll turn down my application?

Can't see a problem except maybe the fact that the left hand door of the proposed garage hasn't got the correct arrangement for kerbs. Maybe you will also have to get that sorted.

Thanks Stephen, I'll have to arrange for the Council to come and drop the kerb, either that or I'll build a wooden ramp...
One thing to note is that it is unlikely that I shall use both garages for cars... I only have the one car.
